In Hacking the Piano, the musicians of Tiptoe Company enter into dialogue with two artists and composers who have developed a very special relationship with a supposedly standard instrument: Patricia Alessandrini and Tim Mariën deconstruct, adapt and detune a colourful arsenal of pianos scattered around the room and create a strange wonderland overflowing with sonic ideas.

A. De Causmaecker is taking care of the scenography and designs light boxes and objects that visually accompany and enrich the musical game.
